we. We were asked to take her from a sheep farm to spare her from being turned into hamburger. Even though she never produced a single lamb, she always protected the other lambs, and this was clear when she took on the role as surrogate guardian to Matilda and Emmet.
Auntie was not fond of people when she first arrived, always keeping her distance. Soon though she learned she can let a person love her. Auntie is my go to when I really need some guidance. Her quiet strength is my pillar as she places her forehead on mine and allows me to bury my face into her neck.
Auntie is overweight and receives a diet of low calorie, high fiber feed. Her joints and back are stressed by the weight so we are trying to help her lose some pounds and add some healthy exercise to her life while giving her back and joint massages with essential oils.
